Why Handled With Care was started
Handled With Care was founded on a simple frustration: too many clients were coming to Matt after years of massage that never addressed their actual problem. They’d describe specific pain, and walk out with a generic Swedish massage. That wasn’t good enough.
Since 2010, Handled With Care has been built around one principle — your session is about you, not a menu item. We listen first, then we work. Every time.
Meet Your Therapists
Matt Schaub, LMT
Founder of Handled With Care and graduate of the Center of Advanced Therapeutics in Denver. Certified in intraoral TMJ release and myoskeletal/myofascial release. Matt’s approach is methodical and results-focused — specializing in TMJ, chronic pain, sciatica, headaches, and frozen shoulder.
Sara Schaub, LMT
Sara and Matt met in massage school before they were married. Sara worked in massage for a decade before going to nursing school. After starting her nursing career, she brought that clinical perspective back to massage. Her regular yoga practice gives her a unique understanding of how muscles function and compensate. Certified in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, and Prenatal massage.
Rita K, LMT
Rita graduated from Brenneke School of Massage / Cortiva Institute in 2008 and has been practicing in Colorado since 2012. She brings one of the widest ranges of modalities of any therapist in the area — Swedish, Deep Tissue, Injury Treatment, Neuromuscular, Myofascial Release, Prenatal, Oncology Massage, Cupping, Table Thai, and Lymphatic Drainage. Every session is completely customized to what your body needs.
